An Awesome Creator!

Yesterday evening, I had the opportunity to walk outside as the sun was setting and to go and do a certain activity that is an amazing stress reliever...fishing! As I walked out there, I was able to just enjoy God's BEAUTIFUL creation and soak in the peace of the evening. Even though I didn't end up catching any fish, I sure enjoyed being still and knowing that my Creator is Lord!!! As you all go into this evening, take the time to be still and know that God does care and desires you to have complete peace in a right relationship with Him; resting and trusting for what only He can give!

"Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."

Trusting and Resting!

While spending time up hear in the North Woods of Michigan, it is truly a privilege to be able to experience Psalms 6:10 "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Alot has been on my heart recently and it is so pleasant and comforting to take the time to rest in the arms of my Heavenly Father!Knowing that He said "...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.", gives me hope and assurance that whatever comes my way is in His sovereign hands.
I have definitely been keeping VERY busy with different projects here at the lodge, but there is not ever a dule moment working with Andy Hacker whose is the director and Chad my brother. :) Projects consist of EVERYTHING you could probably imagine around here; all the way from organizing bed rooms inside to working on large boat motors outside! I personally have a looooonnnnngggg list of things to do and am slowly but surely checking them off! Whahoo! Well, God bless you all and remember that our loving Father is just waiting for us to reach out our hands and place them in His just like He is teaching me, that we may walk by Faith and not by sight!

Forward and Moving On!

Hey all!!! This is the deal, I have been waiting for my header/picture to be made so that I could start posting and now I have it!!!! This is due to Chad's (My brother)hard work on taking the picture and editing it. So, needless to say we are now off to a good start!
