For about 2 weeks now the Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to spend time with my family, friends, relatives and others and it TRULY has been a blessing! All the way from ice skating, a late night euchre tournament with around 20 relatives, spending quality (hehe ;)) time with the ATI staff and to just being at home has put memories into mind that I hopefully won’t forget! I definitely know without a shadow of a doubt that not only do I have friends and family who care, but most of all a Heavenly Father who cares MUCH deeper for me than any friend could!
These all have been very special times and God continues turning chapters in my life to conform me to His image as it speaks of in 2 Corinthians 3:18, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” But now the Lord is moving me on…on to something different, on to a quite place, on to a time in which intimacy between a Father and a son can go very deep and on to a wilderness experience!
The Lord has opened a door of opportunity for me to return to IMI to work this off semester doing maintenance and property upkeep; you could only image the opportunities of quality time I will be able to have alone with the Lord during this time!!! I am honestly P.U.M.P.E.D. about this and would have it no other way, because it truly is God’s way and the direction in which He is leading me! My heart’s desire is to come to a point as David said in Psalm 27:4, “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.”
So I am looking forward this Monday to returning to IMI, where I will be working and continuing to seek the Lord on campus, which is really the whole reason for which I am returning! This is truly my soul’s passion and burden for which I only live; not for others, not for my family, not for a church or ministry, not for future or present friends but wholly for Him and Him alone!!! God bless you all and by God’s grace and strength I will continue to keep you updated while I am there with what the Lord is doing in my life.
If you think of me, please pray that the Lord and Him alone would be the highest passion and burden on my heart! He is the only reason for living and for why I exist. May the Lord continue to give you a burden for Him and His Word, for herein is life and life more abundantly! “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off. " Isaiah 55:8-13
