“Praise ye the LORD. O
give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good:
for his mercy endureth for
ever.”
~Psalm 106:1~
I cannot thank God enough for the many, Many, MANY blessings
that He has poured out upon my head…GOD IS SO GOOD! I want to first and
foremost thank my God for giving me life and not just physical life, but His
LIFE which is Life more abundantly! The more I abide in Him and His Word, the
more I find that that is the only Way of Life and that it satisfies the deepest
needs of the human heart.
SO many times, we under estimate the power of our Creator
God. I find it very sad that we will many
times trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, but yet we so quickly fail to trust
Him for our sanctification. Both are the Lord’s work and neither can be
accomplished in our own strength. (Phil. 1:6) The more we recognize our need
for TOTAL dependence upon the Life of Jesus Christ, the more we can be
conformed to His image!
Over the past 3 years, I have had the privilege of continuing
to grow with my Savior in this kind of relationship as I have been attending
the International Ministerial Institute. God has blessed me beyond measure with
giving me the opportunity to be exposed to the Truth which has radically
changed my heart and mind. James 1:21 puts it this way, “Wherefore
lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with
meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.”
I praise the Lord for Dr. and Mrs. Davis, the directors of
IMI, who have laid down their souls so that I and many others could receive the
vital truths of the Word of God. I will
never be the same because of what God has done in my life through them. It is
truly amazing to see what God can do with those who wholly yield themselves
over to the Spirit’s control. Praise the Lord!
I am now at home with my family in Oklahoma; God has opened
this door of opportunity for me to refocus and continue studying for my 4th
year that Lord willing I will be taking at IMI. Already God is opening possible
doors for prison ministry that will be coming up soon and I am looking forward
to seeing His Kingdom go before me in these areas.
Lastly, I want to say a H.U.G.E. THANK YOU to all who have been praying for me while I have
been at IMI!!! God has continually been purging and pruning me more and more
into the image of His dear Son. God has answered your prayers in miraculous
ways and I have been SO blessed to be a part of that. If you think of me, please
continue to pray as I prepare for upcoming prison ministry opportunities this
off-semester and as I seek the Lord for further direction. Pray that I would
seek His Kingdom first and His righteousness. (Matt. 6:33)
May God bless each and every one of you as you continue to
wait upon Him, resting in His Life and abiding in His Word.
“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word
was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O
LORD God of hosts.”
~Jeremiah 15:16~
