Hmmmm... More Work Projects! :)

I just thought you all might want to see these pictures. This was a job of pressure washing that we did this week! It was fun and it made a HUGE difference too! They had not had their porch clean off like that for about 5 years.

Old Memories Brought to Life!

Joey, Danny, Johny and I had a blast! We were invited to go out one evening to play some "good old"  putt-putt golf with some friends... it was sooo much fun! Personally, I had alot more fun watching all  the little guys have a blast! As far as I can remember, I have not played this game literally for years, and now I cant say that. I praise the Lord for friends who encourage family unity and who care to invest in the lives of "little people"! JOY! :)

The Cycles of Life...LOL

Life is fullll of cycles just in case anyone was wondering! Some are very enjoyable ones and others are harder, but never the less they will always be! One of the previous posts I put up was on laying sod and how I enjoyed it... well here we are again only at another angle of the cycle...taking it up. :)  On this particular project we removed all the sod to put in the place of it 5 and a half tons of gravel!!! It was quite the experience and I am VERY grateful that I was not the only one doing it! God gave us huge amounts of grace and we were able to accomplish the job for His glory and honor. Here are some pictures! (Ps. Eric found a dime that was dated back to 1941... I had never seen anything like it!)

Brick and Beyond!

This week we did a job that entailed relaying/stabilizing a brick and stone walkway. This was actually pretty fun since I have wanted to do masonry work. We basically pulled up most of the fallen apart walk way and the steps to rebuild it up. We laid limestone screenings as a base and filler while the 6x6's held the walkway in place. It was definitely a learning experience and I enjoyed it!
