True Happiness...

If there was one thing that would be most desired among anyone that you might ask, you would probably get the answer, “happiness”. As we see in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), Jesus defines true happiness in a way that is completely opposite of what mankind’s first thought would be. True happiness comes from being completely emptied of self and filled up and overflowing with the Spirit of God.

Yes, I know this is not what you might hear from most people or from church pulpits around the United States, but it stands as the unwavering truth of God that awaits the one who is willing to test its reality inorder to experience its fruit! This type of happiness is an ever present source of Comfort in the midst of any storm and is the foundation upon which the weary soul may stand secure. Test this fact and see what the results are…you will be stunned at the truth!

Someone has rightly said, “Expectations ruin relationships”. If you make anyone else but God your primary expectation, you will find very quickly utter confusion, shame and hopelessness. In fact, it doesn't matter who it is that you might place your expectation in, though it might be the “most godliest person” out there, you WILL be confound! Expect nothing from anyone but God, and you will come to find true happiness, contentment and great gain!
